Hang'n A Cattle Company overlooks the Columbia River and is owned and operated by Alan and Leslie Alexander.

Our interest in the Charolais breed originated in the late 60's when the ranch began using Charolais bulls on red and black Angus cows.

In 1969 we decided to try our hand at breeding registered Charolais and purchased 22 heifers and a bull at the Western Charolais Classic in Caldwell, ID.

Our herd consists of easy calving, moderate framed cows with quiet dispositions. A cow's worth is judged by her ability to raise a good calf, breed back quickly, stay in good flesh and be easy to get along with.

We don't chase the latest fad but we're not afraid to try new bloodlines we think will improve our herd and ultimately make our commercial and purebred customers more money.

We host the Rancher's Choice Production Sale (Charolais and Angus Bulls) on the last Saturday in February and  market replacement females off the ranch and at the Northwest Charolais Association Jackpot Heifer sale in September.

If you're in the market for Charolais bulls or females, give us a call to discuss your breeding program and how we can help fill your needs.
